I'm not sure if I'm catching a cold or what, but my throat has been killing me for the last couple of days. Maybe I'm just run down or something, I haven't really been eating properly lately and skimping a bit on my sleep but there just aren't enough hours in the day at the moment. Three more exams to go and I can take some time out to sort myself out.

Talking of time out, I'll be taking a break from the books again tomorrow night to go watch the Panthers again. To say I was impressed last week is an understatement. Even though hockey isn't a big sport over here, the atmosphere was great and the game was pretty good. We were in the silver seats last game, a little off from centre ice. This time we've decided to go for the gold seats - centre ice. I'm really looking forward to this one.

Work is still killing me, it seems that every time I cross something off my work in progress, two more things get added. If it wasn't for the studying in the evening, I'd throw in a few extra hours and get myself caught up but I just can't afford to sacrifice any study time right now. My exam schedule is tight enough as it is, 6 more weeks and I should be done with them though so maybe I'll finally get caught up then. Scary to think that we'll be heading towards Christmas time by then. I must be getting old, because time seems to be passing at an accellerated rate right now.

Feeling : Curiously Awake

Yup, you guessed it. I've been busy again.

I finally managed to get my ass ingear and start getting through my certification updates again. I got one out of the way last week, and have another one booked in at the end of this month.

As well as the studying, I'm currently bombed out with work. With the release of Zenworks 7 I've got a few updates to do, as well as a couple of new servers to add. Add to that the fact I've just been given the go-ahead to roll out Groupwise 7 and you can see that I've got quite a lot on right now.

I did manage to take some time out on Saturday and I went to my first ice hockey game to see the Nottingham Panthers (http://www.panthers.co.uk) take on the Sheffield Steelers in the Challenge Cup. I've got to say how impressed I was, it was a great night out. The atmosphere in the stadium was great and I just love the fact you can grab a beer and take it back to your seat. The panthers won the game, which always makes the night more enjoyable and it looks like we'll be sorting tickets out to go again this Saturday. All I need to do now is make sure that I'm far enough ahead with my studying so I can take the time out without feeling guilty. Lets hope the Panthers can win again.
