Feeling : Happy & Impatient

Well, the share price did take a slight hit before mine got traded. They dipped about 5p but thankfully this was not enough to make me change my plans for a new car. The cheque landed on the doormat Saturday morning and buy the end of Saturday I'd managed to make a deal with my local Mazda dealership and my shiny new MX5 was ordered with the options I wanted.

The only downside now is the fact that I have to wait until the 9th June before I can collect it. I'll get some piccys of my new toy up on the website when I take delivery.

Something tells me this is going to be a very long couple of weeks...

Still nothing new here yet....

I've been quite occupied with one thing and another recently, not least with finding a new car. I've finally settled on a Mazda MX5. now all that's left to do is find out how much I'm going to make out of some shares I'm about to sell then I can go argue with the dealer over price and finally get my new motor ordered. That is of course if the share price doesn't take a major hit over the next 24 hours or so.

I've always said I'd never buy a brand new car, the simple reason being that you loose quite a lot of money on it as soon as you drive it off the forecourt, but having talked with a few people, they all said its something everyone should do at least once in their life and I figured this was going to be my only shot.

So i'm off to watch the shareprice and keep my fingers crossed that I can still afford my new car tomorrow evening after the shares are sold...
